Neon-lit quarter-mile drag racing against a ladder of 10 rivals. Rev into the launch zone, hit perfect shifts, fire nitro, then tune your gear ratios and upgrade your car.
Drag Shift is a one-button drag racing game set on a neon city strip at night. Every race is a straight quarter mile against one rival, and it is won or lost on timing. Hold the button to rev while the lights count down and keep the needle in the green launch zone. Too few revs and the car bogs, too many and the tyres spin up in smoke. Once you are moving, tap to shift as the needle reaches the green band near the redline. A perfect shift gives a short power boost, while waiting too long bounces you off the rev limiter.
You climb a ladder of ten rivals, from Rookie Ray to The Phantom. Each one drives a stronger car, reacts faster and shifts more cleanly than the last, and the top rivals bring their own nitro. Prize money pays for engine, turbo, tyre, gearbox, nitro and weight upgrades in the tuning shop. You can also adjust the final drive and gear spacing to trade launch punch for top speed, and the shop shows how each change affects your car.
This racing game suits players who like short, tense reflex challenges and steady car upgrades. Each run lasts about fifteen seconds and posts your elapsed time to the leaderboard. Tip: save the nitro for third gear or later, when the tyres can use the extra power.
How to play
Hold the main button while the start lights count down to rev the engine, and keep the needle in the green launch zone when the light turns green. During the race, tap the button to shift up each time the needle reaches the green shift zone, and use nitro for a burst of speed. Cross the 402 m finish line before your rival to win prize money and unlock the next rival on the ladder. Spend your winnings on upgrades and gear tuning to lower your elapsed time.
