Dodgeball Frenzy
Top-down gym dodgeball against a whole team of computer players. Grab balls, throw to knock them out and time perfect catches to send the thrower out instead.
Dodgeball Frenzy brings the classic school gym game to a bright wooden court seen from above. You are the lone blue player against a red team that keeps getting bigger. Scoop up the red balls on your side, throw them across the center line and knock every opponent out to win the round.
The twist is the catch. Watch for an opponent winding up, with a red ring and aim line showing the coming throw, then hit catch at the last moment. A perfect catch knocks the thrower out, scores big bonus points and fires the ball straight back with extra speed. Each round you face a new team with more players and more balls. Snipers throw faster with better aim, catchers can snag your throws and send them home, and everyone dodges more cleverly as the rounds climb. After every win you pick a training perk such as Rocket Arm, Quick Feet, Big Mitts, an extra heart, homing throws or bonus points.
This arcade sports game suits anyone who enjoys quick reflex battles against the computer. Your best score, best round and player rank are saved. Tip: stay out of the middle, keep moving sideways, and treat catching as your strongest attack rather than a last resort.
How to play
Move around your half of the court and walk over a ball to pick it up. Throw it at the red team to knock players out; clear them all to win the round. When an opponent throws at you, press catch just before the ball arrives to catch it, which knocks out the thrower. Getting hit costs a life, and you regain one after each round you win. Pick a perk between rounds. The game ends when you run out of lives.
