Cryptogram Cipher is a classic code-breaking puzzle. A short saying has been scrambled so that every letter is swapped for a different one, always the same swap, and your job is to work out the secret alphabet and read the message. All of the sayings are original, so you will not find them in any quote book.
Click a code letter and type your guess, and every matching letter fills in at once. Duplicate guesses are flagged, a letter count strip shows which code letters appear most. Check marks wrong guesses in red, and Reveal shows the true letter for the selected code letter. The first reveal on each puzzle is free, later ones cost coins, and you can never get stuck. Early campaign ciphers start with a few letters already solved, and the later ones drop the training wheels and grow much longer. Three stars need no reveals and at most one check.
The campaign has fifty ciphers, free play pulls a random saying, and the daily cipher is the same for everyone each day. Earn coins and experience, rank up from Code Rookie, unlock new colour themes and upgrades, finish daily goals and keep your streak alive. It is made for fans of cryptograms, logic puzzles and wordplay. Tip: look for short words and double letters first, then lock in the letters you are sure about.
How to play
Each letter in the saying has been replaced by another letter. Click a code letter and type your guess, and all matching letters update together. Use Check to find wrong guesses and Reveal for a hint. Decode the whole message to win.
