Lead a growing crowd through a pastel city. Walk into people to recruit them, sweep up smaller crowds, dodge bigger ones and be the biggest crowd when time runs out.
Crowd.io is a crowd-gathering io game set in a sunny pastel city of rooftops, parks and fountain plazas. You start as a lone leader with a little flag. Walk into wandering pedestrians and they fall in behind you, filling a swirling formation that grows bigger with every recruit. A crowd of named AI leaders is doing the same thing across town, and when two crowds touch, the bigger one starts pulling followers away from the smaller one, one person at a time.
Each round lasts two and a half minutes. Steer down the streets, cut through parks and plazas, and sprint to escape a giant crowd or to catch a rival before it slips away. Megaphones stretch your recruiting reach and speedy shoes help you outrun trouble. Every so often a tour bus pulls up in a park and drops a group of gold-shirted tourists who count double, and every leader rushes to grab them. Strip a rival of their last follower and you sweep them off the map for a big bonus.
Win a round to move up a league with more rivals and smarter bots, and spend coins on Charisma, Sneakers and Hype upgrades between rounds. It is a good pick for players who like simple controls with real tactical choices. Tip: follow the bus arrow early, then only pick fights with crowds clearly smaller than yours.
How to play
Walk into neutral pedestrians to add them to your crowd. When your crowd touches a smaller crowd, you steal its followers; a bigger crowd steals yours, so keep your distance. Take the last follower from a rival to sweep them away. Grab megaphones for a wider reach and shoes for speed, and race to tour buses for gold tourists worth two followers. The biggest crowd when the timer ends wins the round. Your score is 10 per follower at the end, plus 5 per follower at your peak and 50 per rival swept.
