Color Sort Tubes
Pour colored liquid between glass tubes until every tube holds a single color. Twelve generated levels, a move limit and three lives make each sort count.
Color Sort Tubes is a calm color sorting puzzle set in a bright pastel lab, with glass tubes lined up on a wooden shelf. Every level starts with layers of colored liquid jumbled across the tubes, plus two empty ones to work with. Your job is to pour until each tube is filled with one solid color. It is easy to learn, satisfying to finish, and every completed tube gets a little celebration.
You can only pour onto a matching color or into an empty tube, and a pour moves the whole matching layer that fits. Each level is generated fresh and checked by a solver, so a solution always exists, and you get a move budget with a few spare moves. The puzzle grows from three colors to nine over twelve levels, which means more tubes, longer chains of planning and fewer obvious moves. Running out of moves or resetting a level costs one of three lives.
This tube sorting game is perfect for players who enjoy relaxing logic puzzles with a gentle challenge. Tip: try to keep one tube empty for as long as you can, because a free tube is the most valuable tool you have when you need to dig out a buried color.
How to play
Pour the top color of one tube into another tube that is empty or has the same color on top. Sort every tube into a single solid color before you run out of moves. Leftover moves and the level number add bonus points. Running out of moves or resetting a level costs a life; lose all three and the game ends. Clear all twelve levels to win.
Controls
- Mouse / tap: Pick a tube, then the tube to pour into
- Drag: Drag one tube onto another to pour
- 1-9, 0: Select tubes by number
- U / reset button: Reset the level (costs a life)
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- R / Enter: Restart after game over
