Color Mix is a fast color-matching arcade game about mixing light, set on a cozy theater stage with velvet curtains and a gold-trimmed spotlight. Gates of colored light glide down the lane toward your orb, and each one only lets you through if your spotlight shows exactly the same color. It is a quick brain teaser and a reflex test in one, and it feels great when a perfect match bursts into sparks.
You control three channels: red, green and blue. Tap a button or press 1, 2 or 3 to switch a channel on or off, and watch the orb blend them. Red plus green makes yellow, green plus blue makes cyan, red plus blue makes magenta, and all three make white. The first gates only ask for single colors and show the recipe, then mixed colors arrive, and finally white joins the pool. Gates move faster and spawn closer together as you score, and every miss costs one of your three hearts.
This additive color mixing game suits anyone who likes short, snappy runs and a little color theory. Tip: set up the next color while the current gate is still far away, and use C to clear all channels when you need to change a mix completely.
How to play
Gates of colored light slide down toward your spotlight. Before each gate reaches the dashed line, mix red, green and blue so the orb matches the gate color exactly. Every match scores points and builds a combo multiplier; a wrong color costs one of three hearts. The run ends when all hearts are gone.
Controls
- Tap R / G / B buttons: Toggle the red, green or blue channel
- 1 / 2 / 3 (or Q W E, arrow keys): Toggle red, green or blue
- C: Clear all channels
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- R / Enter: Restart after game over
