Circuit Racer
Race open-wheel cars against three AI rivals on autumn circuits, slipstream past them on the straights and finish on the podium to score championship points before the field gets faster.
Circuit Racer is a top-down formula racing game on twisting autumn circuits lined with red and white kerbs, tyre walls and maple trees in orange and gold. You start each three-lap race from the back of a four-car grid behind a row of red start lights, and every race pits you against three AI drivers who brake for corners, take the inside line and dodge around slower cars.
The championship runs on points: a win pays 10, second place 6 and third place 3, and as long as you finish on the podium you move on to the next round on a new layout, sometimes mirrored or reversed, with rivals that are a little quicker each time. Finish last and the season is over, with your points total as the score. Tuck in behind another car to catch the slipstream for extra speed, but watch out for the grass, which halves your top speed, and the tyre walls, which bounce you back onto the track. A live position tower, minimap and lap counter keep the battle readable.
This racing game suits players who like short races with a long-term goal. Tip: brake before the corner rather than in it, and save your overtakes for the slipstream on the longest straight.
How to play
Accelerate, brake and steer around the circuit for three laps against three AI rivals. You start at the back of the grid. Draft behind other cars for a slipstream boost and stay off the grass. Finishing first, second or third earns 10, 6 or 3 championship points and moves you on to the next round with faster rivals. Finishing fourth ends the championship, and your total points are your score.

- Up / W: Accelerate
- Down / S / Space: Brake and reverse
- Left / Right or A / D: Steer
- Hold mouse: Drive toward the cursor
- Touch ◀ ▶ ▲ ▼ buttons: Steer, accelerate and brake on touch screens
- Enter / Space / tap: Start or continue to the next race
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute sound
- R: Restart after the championship ends
