Run a busy movie theater: drag film posters onto your screens, tap guests to sell tickets and snacks, fix jammed projectors and earn star reviews while upgrading your cinema day by day.
Cinema Manager is a time-management game about running a small movie theater. Each day you get a lineup of cartoon films, a handful of screens and a lobby full of guests with patience meters. Every guest wants one specific film, so the poster badges on your shelf show how much demand there is for each title.
Drag a poster onto an empty screen to open its doors, then tap guests to sell them a ticket and, if they ask, popcorn and soda from a limited stock you restock for a small cost. Start a show early when seats are few, or wait for a sell-out. When the film ends the audience leaves a star review: happy guests earn a review bonus and raise your buzz, which brings in bigger crowds. Projectors jam from day three, so tap the exclamation mark before the show is ruined. Each day has a cash goal worth up to three stars, new films, critics, VIP guests and extra screens unlock as you progress, and the shop offers plush seats, laser projectors, velvet ropes, a snack bot, a projectionist and more. A daily challenge, three daily goals, a streak bonus and a rank bar keep you coming back.
It suits fans of cinema tycoon and restaurant-rush style simulation games. Tip: schedule the film that the most impatient guests are holding up, and keep an eye on your snack stock.
How to play
Drag a film poster from the shelf onto an empty screen, or tap a poster and then the screen. Tap guests in the lobby to sell them a ticket for a film that is currently open for seating. Tap START to begin a show early, tap the exclamation mark to fix a projector jam, and tap the snack tiles to restock. Reach the daily cash goal for stars, then spend your earnings in the shop.
Controls
- Mouse / tap: Drag a poster onto a screen, tap guests to sell tickets, tap snack tiles to restock
- 1-5: Select a film poster
- A S D F: Schedule the selected film on screen 1-4, or start a show early
- Space: Sell a ticket to the most impatient guest who can be served
- Z / X: Restock popcorn / soda
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- R: Restart from the pause or result screen
