Fly a rescue helicopter over sunny hostile hills, shoot tanks, flak guns and jets, land beside camps to pick up hostages and ferry them home across 10 missions.
Chopper Rescue is a side-scrolling helicopter shooter with a heart. You pilot a bright orange rescue chopper over rolling green hills dotted with palm trees, and every mission starts at your home helipad. Somewhere out there, camps full of waving hostages are waiting. Blast your way through tank patrols and flak cannons, settle down gently next to a camp, and watch the passengers run aboard before you race back home with a full cabin.
Flying is the real skill. Land too hard or slam into a hillside and you lose hull, so ease off the throttle as you touch down. Fuel drains while you fly, so plan trips and stop at the base to refuel and repair. Tanks lob shells, anti-air guns burst flak where you are heading, and from mission 4 jets streak past firing homing missiles you can shoot down. Later missions add enemy helicopters, more camps and longer maps. If your chopper goes down, your passengers parachute to safety and walk back to camp, so nobody is lost, but you must fetch them again. Earn cash for rescues and kills and spend it in the hangar on armor, cabin seats, gun speed, fuel and engine power.

How to play
Fly right from your base, shoot enemies, and land gently beside a camp so hostages can board. Fly back and land on your helipad to drop them off, refuel and repair. Rescue every hostage to clear a mission, then buy upgrades in the hangar. Hard landings, enemy fire and running out of fuel damage or destroy your chopper; the run ends when all three choppers are lost. Reach missions 4 and 7 to unlock them as starting points.

- Arrow keys / WASD: Fly
- Space / J: Fire (auto-aims at the nearest enemy ahead)
- Mouse: Hold the button to fire at the cursor
- Touch: Left thumb-stick to fly, FIRE button to shoot
- 1-5: Buy upgrades in the hangar
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- R: Restart after game over
