Castle Crusher
Aim a wooden trebuchet and flatten 30 storybook castles. Pick stones, bombs, split shots, boulders and fire pots to topple towers and knock out every goblin guard.
Castle Crusher is a physics siege game about lobbing the right shot at the right block. Each level puts a goblin-guarded castle at the far end of a sunny meadow, built from wood, glass, stone and iron. Knock out a support and everything above it slides, tips and crashes down, so a single well-placed stone can bring a whole tower onto the guards hiding inside.
Drag back anywhere and release to fling a shot from your trebuchet, or fine-tune the angle and power with the keyboard. New ammo unlocks as you advance: bombs that blast on impact or on command, triple shots that split in mid-air, heavy boulders that punch through iron, and fire pots that set wooden beams ablaze and spread from plank to plank. Later castles add stone walls, rocky hills, helmeted and shield-carrying guards, crosswinds that push your shots, and a shorter aiming guide, so you need to read each fortress before you fire.
This catapult strategy game suits players who like a quick puzzle with a satisfying crash at the end. Clearing a level within par earns three stars, unused ammo adds bonus points, and your stars, unlocked levels and best scores are saved. Tip: aim for the lowest supporting pillars first and let gravity do the heavy work.
How to play
Knock out every goblin guard in the castle before you run out of ammo. Drag back and release to launch from the trebuchet: the drag direction sets the angle and its length sets the power. Choose your ammo in the bar at the bottom. Tap again while a Bomb is flying to detonate it, or while a Triple is flying to split it. Destroyed blocks, guards and leftover ammo score points; finishing within par shots earns three stars and unlocks the next castle.
Controls
- Mouse drag / touch drag: Pull back and release to launch
- Click / tap in flight: Detonate a Bomb or split a Triple
- Up / Down (W / S): Change the angle
- Left / Right (A / D): Change the power
- Space / Enter: Fire, or trigger the shot's special
- 1-5 / Tab or tap the ammo bar: Choose ammo
- V or eye button: Look at the castle
- P / Esc, M, R, L: Pause, mute, restart level, level select
