Castle Builder Idle
Tap to lay bricks, hire builders and engineers, construct towers, walls and five great wonders that grow your castle on screen, and found new kingdoms in this medieval idle clicker.
Castle Builder Idle is a medieval construction idle clicker. Tap the castle to hammer out bricks and sparks, then hire ten kinds of workers, from Apprentice Masons and Stone Cutters to Architects, Crane Operators, Wizard Builders and Dragon Haulers. Your castle starts as a lonely keep behind a wooden fence and grows right on screen: gatehouse, walls, watchtower, market stalls, a blacksmith with smoking chimney, barracks, a chapel and a dragon perched on the roof. Treasure chests roll by and give random bonuses.
The Castle tab is where you design the kingdom. Eight buildings can each be upgraded five times, and every one has a different effect, from stronger taps and cheaper workers to bonus chests and bells that tap for you. Construction takes real time, scaffolds appear on site and tapping them hammers the job along. More workers build faster, and a master builder lets you run up to three sites at once. Five wonders, from the Great Library to the Sky Citadel, take much longer and keep building while you are away. When growth slows, found a new kingdom to earn Crowns for permanent perks. Offline earnings are capped at eight hours.
It suits fans of building games and incremental progress. Daily missions, a daily challenge, a seven day reward calendar, ranks, six castle stone styles and achievements add variety. Tip: start the longest construction before you leave, and put your wonder in the free site.
How to play
Tap the castle (or press Space) to earn gold. Hire workers and buy upgrades, then use the Castle tab to construct buildings and wonders, tap scaffolds to hammer them along and add more building sites. Catch treasure chests for bonuses and finish daily missions. When growth slows, found a new kingdom from the Realm tab to earn Crowns for permanent perks. Progress saves automatically and earns gold while you are away.
Controls
- Tap a scaffold: Hammer a building that is under construction to finish it sooner
- Mouse / tap: Tap the main object to earn, tap shop rows to buy, tap bonus events
- Drag / mouse wheel: Scroll the shop list
- Space / Enter: Tap the main object
- 1-9: Buy the matching row in the open tab
- Q / E: Switch tabs
- B: Cycle buy amount (x1, x10, x100, max)
- G: Catch a bonus event
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- R: Start the next run after prestiging
