Run a sunny car wash: soap, scrub, rinse and dry muddy cars with satisfying drag-to-clean tools, keep customers happy, pay the rent and upgrade your business day after day.
Car Wash Tycoon is a hands-on business simulation where every car is a little cleaning puzzle. Muddy hatchbacks, pickups, vans, sports cars and stretch limos roll into your bay, and you clean them yourself: lather the dirt with the sponge, scrub it loose with the brush, blast away the foam with the hose and wipe the car dry with a towel. Tools switch automatically as each stage finishes, and a sparkling five-star wash earns a tip.
Each day runs from nine to five. Customers queue at the side with smiling faces and patience bars, and anyone left waiting too long drives off and hurts your reputation. At closing time you pay rent that climbs every day, then spend what is left on upgrades: wider tools, power soap, a pressure hose, a turbo dryer, a comfy lounge that makes customers more patient, a pre-rinse arch and a neon sign that brings in better-paying visitors. From day three, random daily events shake things up, such as muddy days, rush hours, VIP days full of limos and heatwaves that shorten tempers, and stubborn bird-dropping spots that need extra scrubbing.
It is great for players who like satisfying cleaning games and light management. Your score is the total money earned before your reputation or bank balance runs out. Tip: sweep the whole car in long strokes instead of chasing single spots.
How to play
Drag over the car in the bay with the active tool: soap the dirt, scrub it off, rinse away the foam, then dry. Tools advance automatically, or pick one from the tray. Press Done to send a car off early. Clean cars quickly for better stars, tips and reputation. Customers who wait too long leave. Pay the rent at the end of each day and buy upgrades; the run ends if your reputation hits zero or you cannot pay the rent.
Controls
- Drag (mouse / touch): Use the active tool on the car
- Tap tray buttons: Pick a tool or press Done
- Arrows / WASD + hold Space: Move and use the tool with the keyboard
- 1-4: Choose soap, scrub, rinse or dry
- E / Enter: Finish the current car
- 1-7 at day end: Buy upgrades
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
