Bridge Engineer
Design bridges from road, wood, steel and cable under a tight budget, then watch cars, vans, trucks and buses test your work. Overloaded beams glow red and snap.
Bridge Engineer is a physics bridge building game about doing more with less. Each level gives you a river gap, a handful of red anchor points and a budget. Drag beams between joints to lay a road and brace it, press Test, and watch real traffic roll across while every beam shows its stress from calm to glowing red. Push a beam too far and it snaps, sending planks tumbling into the water.
The campaign has 24 levels. Early creeks need only a few wooden triangles, then steel unlocks for heavier vans and trucks, and cables arrive with tall towers so you can hang a suspension deck. Later levels add rock pillars to build from, uneven cliffs, red ship lanes that must stay clear, convoys of several vehicles and long buses that punish shallow trusses. Finishing under budget earns one star, staying under 85 percent earns two and under 70 percent earns three, and cheaper designs score higher. Your designs, stars and total score are saved between sessions.
This bridge construction puzzle suits players who like to tinker, test and improve. Tip: triangles are your friend. A deeper truss spreads the load, and a single cable from a tower can replace a lot of expensive steel.
How to play
Drag from any joint (red anchors or white joints) to build a beam with the selected material; beams snap to the grid and each material has a maximum length. Join both cliffs with Road so vehicles can drive, then brace it with Wood, Steel or Cable. Press Test to send the traffic: every vehicle must reach the flag without the bridge collapsing, and the cost must stay within the budget. Spend less to earn up to three stars and a higher score, which unlocks the next level.
