Blade Serpent
Steer a glowing blade serpent and coil your body around swarming enemies, then cross your own tail to close the loop and crush everything trapped inside.
Blade Serpent is a snake action game with a twist: your serpent never bites. Instead you wrap your glowing body around enemies and cross your own tail to close the loop, and everything caught inside the coil is destroyed at once. Trapping two or three foes in one sweep is hugely satisfying, with screen shake, slow motion on big catches and a shower of energy orbs that make your serpent longer.
The arena fills in swarms. Early on only slow drifters wander about, but every 25 seconds a new swarm raises the enemy cap and brings in chasers that hunt your fragile head, armoured brutes that need two coils, bombers that blow up their neighbours and spitters whose shots your body can block. Back-to-back kill loops build a chain multiplier up to x5, five-kill loops restore a life, and violet razor orbs turn your whole body into a blade for six seconds. A boost button trades energy for speed when you need to close a loop fast.
It suits players who like arena survival games and drawing big shapes under pressure. Lifetime kills raise your rank from Hatchling to Leviathan, and each rank unlocks a new serpent colour. Tip: circle wide around clusters near the walls, since enemies bounce off the edges and stay bunched up.
How to play
Steer the serpent with the mouse, the arrow keys or WASD, or the on-screen stick. Loop your body around enemies and cross your own tail to destroy everything inside the loop. Bigger multi-kill loops and quick chains score more. Hold Space or the BOOST button to speed up. Enemies or bullets that touch your head cost one of three lives; lose them all and the run ends.
