Side-view badminton against eight computer rivals. Clear, drop and jump-smash a drag-slowed shuttle over the net, win to 21 and climb the club ladder.
Badminton Smash is a side-view badminton game where the shuttle flies like the real thing: it rockets off the racket, loses speed to air drag and drops steeply at the end of its arc. You move, jump and swing against a computer opponent, reading each flight to set up a high clear, a soft drop shot that dies just over the net, a flat drive or a leaping jump smash.
Matches use rally scoring to 21 points (win by two, or switch to a quick first-to-11 match), and the winner of each rally serves. Eight rivals form the club ladder, and each has a style: a lobber who feeds you smashes, a net specialist who drops short, a cannon who punishes every short lift, a wall who returns everything, and a champion who does it all. Later opponents move faster, react sooner, jump-smash and make fewer errors. Timing a hit on the racket sweet spot scores a Perfect and fills your Focus meter, and a full meter turns your next jump smash into a slow-motion Thunder Smash that is very hard to return. Beating a rival unlocks the next one, and your ladder progress is saved.
Good for anyone who likes racket sports, reflex games and a steady climb. Tip: clear deep to push your opponent back, then drop short when they are stuck at the baseline.
How to play
Rally the shuttle over the net so it lands in your opponent's court. You lose the point if it lands on your side, goes out past your opponent's baseline or hits the net. Swing as the shuttle reaches your racket: jump and hit a high shuttle to smash, hit low shuttles to lift them deep, or play a drop shot that falls just over the net. First to 21 points (win by two) takes the match and unlocks the next rival on the ladder.

- A / D or Left / Right: Move
- W or Up: Jump
- Space or J / left click: Hit (jump + hit = smash, hold Right for a flat drive)
- K, S or Down / right click: Drop shot
- Touch: Arrow pads move, JUMP, HIT and DROP buttons
- Left / Right on the menu: Choose an unlocked rival
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- R: Restart
