Ant Farm Idle
Grow an ant colony in this cheerful idle clicker. Haul leaves, give ants jobs, defend against beetle raids, farm fungus gardens and start over with a new queen for permanent bonuses.
Ant Farm Idle shows a cross-section of an ant nest: a sunny meadow on top and tunnels and chambers underneath. Tap the giant leaf in the royal chamber to haul leaves, then hatch ten kinds of ants and facilities, from Forager Ants and Tunnel Diggers to Nurseries, Barracks and an Ant Metropolis. Every chamber you fill lights up, and ants march across the grass and through the tunnels.
The Colony tab is the twist. Your population hatches over time up to the size of your nest, and you give idle ants jobs: foragers raise production, diggers make everything cheaper, nurses speed up hatching and gardens, and soldiers defend against beetle raids that arrive every few minutes. Win a raid for leaves and gems, lose and beetles steal four percent. Plant fungus gardens with five crops, from quick Moss Patches to Golden Fungus, and spend royal jelly on the Queen's Blessings. When progress slows, found a new colony with a new queen to earn permanent Pheromones.
A seven-day calendar, a daily modifier, a three-star challenge, missions, achievements and ranks that unlock new leaf styles give you reasons to come back. Offline earnings are capped at eight hours. Tip: keep a few soldiers from your second raid onward.
How to play
Tap or press Space to haul leaves. Buy ants and upgrades, assign idle ants to jobs in the Colony tab, plant fungus gardens, repel beetle raids and found a new colony once you can gain at least five Pheromones. Your score is the Pheromones earned in one colony.
Controls
- Mouse / tap: Haul leaves, buy, assign ants and plant gardens
- Space / Enter: Tap the main object
- 1-9: Buy the numbered row in the open tab
- Q / E: Previous / next tab
- B: Cycle buy amount (x1, x10, x100, max)
- G: Catch the bonus event
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- R: Start the next run from the result screen
